Agricultural uses: Lambda-cyhalothrin is used to control pests on crops such as cotton, soybeans, corn, oilseed rape, vegetables, cereals, fruits, sugar beet, and sugarcane. It’s effective against a wide range of insects, including aphids, thrips, spider mites, bollworms, jassids, leaf rollers, stem borers, green leaf hopper, gall midge, and hispa.
Public health uses: Lambda-cyhalothrin is used in public health applications.
Perimeter pest control: Lambda-cyhalothrin is used to control ants, bees, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, millipedes, mosquitoes, scorpions, sowbugs, stink bugs, pillbugs, spiders, termites, ticks, and wasps.
Lambda-cyhalothrin has a soil half-life of about 30 days, but can range from 28–84 days.
